Veterinary Electrodes and Supplies for Ophthalmology and ERG Testing

The Electrode Store supplies contact lens electrodes, reference and ground electrodes, and supporting products for veterinary electroretinography (ERG) and related neurodiagnostic testing.

Our veterinary range includes ERG Jet and RM Canine contact lens electrodes, reusable stainless steel needles, platinum-iridium needles, surface electrodes, gels, lead extensions and adapters.

ERG Jet contact lens electrodes

ERG Jet electrodes, manufactured by Fabrinal in Switzerland, are pre-sterilized contact lens electrodes intended for single-patient use.

Each electrode has a 12 mm diameter lens and an attached 1 m lead with a standard 1.5 mm touch-proof safety socket. Choose the package quantity that suits your practice:

• 7506: one pair—two electrodes.

• 7506(6PR): six pairs—12 electrodes.

• 7506(25PR): 25 pairs—50 electrodes.

RM Canine contact lens electrodes

RM Canine electrodes from RetMap are soft contact lens electrodes designed specifically for canine ERG testing.

Choose RMCM for the reusable model or RMCS-10-PACK for a box of 10 single-use electrodes. Review the product’s patient-size guidance and care instructions when selecting between the two formats.

Reference and ground needle electrodes

Our veterinary needle collection includes:

• GR Series: reusable, uncoated stainless steel reference or ground needles manufactured by The Electrode Store. These 12 mm, 29-gauge needles have attached 24-inch leads and are available individually or in packs of 10, with red, black or white leads. GR needles are supplied non-sterile and are intended for animal use only.

• PLAT-5PK: five individually packaged sterile platinum-iridium needles, each 13 mm × 27 gauge with a 1.5 m lead.

• PLAT-13: 25 individually packaged sterile platinum-iridium needles with the same needle dimensions and lead length.

The PLAT models are intended for single-patient use. For external reference or ground options, browse veterinary surface electrodes, including discs and ear clips.

Equipment connections and supporting supplies

Veterinary ERG/VEP systems include the RetinoGraphics BPM-300, developed for veterinary ophthalmology. When selecting electrodes for this or another system, confirm the required electrode type, connector and lead length.

Find conductive gels and pastes, skin preparation products, lead extensions and adapters in Veterinary Supplies. Check individual product specifications rather than assuming every electrode uses the same connection.
